Hygienists
Kelly Fine, RDH, BSDH, M.Ed, is a graduate of Tunxis Community
College, Northern Arizona University, and the University of
Hartford. Kelly has over 30 years experience in dentistry as a
practicing dental hygienist. Kelly maintains memberships in the
American Dental Hygiene Association, Connecticut Dental Hygiene
Association, Hartford Dental Hygiene Association, the
International Academy of Periodontology, and the Organization
for Safety and Asepsis Procedures. She has been a clinical
instructor and educational assistant for the Dental Hygiene
program at Tunxis and continues to share her passion for dental
hygiene by mentoring students in the Dental Hygiene program. She
currently is a part time instructor for the dental hygiene
program at Lincoln Technical Institute in Bristol, CT.
Associated with Dr. Viagrande for eleven years, Kelly’s
strengths include soft tissue management and periodontal
therapies. She possesses the valuable ability to make even the
most anxious patient feel comfortable. Kelly is certified in
local anesthesia delivery, chairside tooth bleaching, CPR, and
soft tissue laser therapy.
Judith Zuffelato, RDH, is a graduate of the Fones School of Dental
Hygiene, University of Bridgeport. Judy has practiced dental
hygiene for over 35 years, and has been with Dr. Viagrande for
almost 20 years in two offices. During those 35 years, Judy has also
assumed expanded duties of a dental assistant, oral surgery
assistant and orthodontic assistant. Judy has been a member of
the American Dental Hygiene Association, and the Connecticut
Dental Hygiene Association. She attends numerous continuing
education courses annually, and is active in several local
hygiene societies. She is certified in CPR. Judy still looks
forward to treating and caring for patients with compassion.
When not performing professional services, Judy can be found in
any of several community service organizations. She resides in
Berlin with her husband and has three children.
Dental Assistants
Madeline Grant, CDA, has been a dental assistant for almost 20 years, helping patients in the states of California and
Connecticut. In 1988, Maddie graduated with a two-year degree in
dental assisting from San Joaquin Valley College in Bakersfield,
California. She is certified in CPR.
Maddie is Dr. Viagrande’s ‘right hand’, keeping him organized
and on track. Her friendly greeting along with her entertaining
chair side conversation immediately begins to relax even the
most anxious patient, while she performs her patient care duties
with the highest level of expertise. All of our patients that
have come to know her look forward to seeing her at their
appointments. Maddie speaks fluent Spanish, and can act as a
translator between dental staff and patients.

Administrative Manager and Medical Records Review
Catherine Florio-Viagrande BSN, RN.
Cathy received her four-year nursing degree from Fairfield
University, graduating cum laude in 1981. Cathy worked for
several years as a charge nurse at the Valley Hospital in New
Jersey. After marriage, she took a position as a phlebotomist
with the American Red Cross in Connecticut, before joining our
office staff in 1990.
Cathy works tirelessly as medical history reviewer,
administrative manager, and sometimes chair side assistant. Our
patients always appreciate her warm, caring and friendly
attitude.
Financial Coordinator
Debbie Seller
Debbie has worked with Dr Viagrande for over ten years. Previous
to this, she held positions as a Supervisor for Cigna Dental
Benefits Claims Department and as a dental software computer
trainer for a northeast regional computer dental software
company. In addition, Debbie has held several managerial
positions in other dental offices before working with Dr
Viagrande. Debbie's personal interests include baking, gardening
and NASCAR Racing. As a professional driver, she raced locally
for over a decade.
Debbie's main focus is to help our patients obtain the care and
smile they desire and to take the stress out of the financial
aspects. She works closely with insurance companies to ensure
that patients utilize their benefits to their fullest potential.
Debbie acts as a liaison between the doctor’s treatment plan and
each patient account on an individual basis, utilizing interest
free payment plans to help make the right treatment affordable
for all patients. Her monthly responsibilities include tracking
insurance submissions, and statement billing. If you have a

Patient Coordinator
Agnes Nowak-Giera, CDA
Agnes is the newest addition to our staff. Her welcoming voice
is the first one you will usually hear answering the phone when
you call. Agnes began her career in the dental office as a
chair-side assistant. She went on to become a front desk manager
for a single doctor office for the last five years. Prior to her
career in dentistry, Agnes earned a BA in languages and has held
positions as a language teacher and as an interpreter with the
State of Connecticut Judicial Branch. Agnes speaks fluent
Polish, and can act as a translator between dental staff and
patients.
Agnes' primary responsibilities include communicating with
patients and staff personnel to coordinate patient dentist and
hygiene appointments. Agnes' warm, caring attitude ensures she
makes new patients welcome, comfortable and appreciated. If you
have an appointment concern, ask for Agnes.
Agnes resides locally with her husband and daughter. In her free
time she enjoys being a homemaker.

Marvin Peck, CDT
Marvin owned a successful dental laboratory serving Hartford
area dentists for several decades. In addition, Marvin has
worked chairside under Dr. Viagrande’s supervision for over 25
years, satisfying hundreds of patients with removable
prosthetics. His laboratory skills are second to none at giving
patients the look and fit they want. Along with his warm chairside manner, he puts patients at ease.
In-house Ceramic Dental Laboratory Services
Henry Coehlo, CDT
Henry is a certified dental technician for crowns, bridges, and
veneers of all types. He is very highly trained in dental
cosmetic restorations, and is present on-site for custom shade
matching for perfect color blends and facial makeovers, to give
you the outcome you desire. Henry has 25 years of experience in
the dental laboratory business. |
